I live in Greenwood, Nova Scotia and mother of two grown children and Nana to three grandsons. My greatest reward through my art is when it evokes a feeling or memory with the viewer and especially if they want to make it part of their world.

Growing up on the South Shore of Nova Scotia I have always appreciated nature. Five years ago, I found my love of painting one summer afternoon sitting beside a lake, wondering what it would be like to paint nature's beauty.  So, I picked up a paint brush, and decided to learn. With the help of a paint class and YouTube tutorials I was inspired to find my own style.

I work with acrylics and also acrylic inks and various tools for mark making. I like to explore the use of collage to give my art texture because I believe art should be explored with touch as well as sight. I also believe making art is a form of healing and it allows me to express my thoughts and feelings in a way that cannot always be expressed.
