Hello my name is Alice Woodbury (aka Little Bluenose Illustrations) and I am a freelance artist and illustrator based in Aylesford, Nova Scotia.

I specialize in drawing everything from people, places and pets to illustrations for businesses. I'm currently working on a series of illustrated landscape portraits highlighting the amazing places we have here in our beautiful province.

I also paint with acrylics and have created a variety of work featuring my signature whimsical styled houses. You may have seen these pieces in local restaurants, businesses and galleries here in the Annapolis Valley. My husband and I used to have a bistro called Pascalice's Bistro in Greenwood and there I had many of my colorful art creations on display for the public to view. It is also where I met the lovely and talented Amber Juby who was starting up 7Arts at the time.

The main theme throughout my work is color. I love lots of bright, beautiful colors that just pull the viewer in to my cozy little world. I believe they can help make us feel good. If I can bring a smile to someone's face with one of my pieces then I will have done my job.
