Amber is an Ontario girl living in a Nova Scotia World. She studied Architecture, Art History and Fine Art in College. Her next adventure was becoming a military spouse and a Dog Mom of 3 Fab Labs.
 

A change can be good and bad. Amber was diagnosed with MS in 2010 and moved to NS to be closer to family and medical support. It was a welcome change after Cold Lake, AB. “The Valley is beautiful! And I have some of my favorite things here; family, art and wine”.

 

When her health stabilized, she started looking for an Artistic outlet. She is a visual artist that uses varied media and it was hard being new and finding the right fit. So in 2018 Amber decided to create an Art focused community group, and Ta-Da NOVA SEVEN ARTS COUNCIL was born. “A new perspective on life helped her realize her goal and she was lucky to find like-minded people”. Amber believes in the healing power of ART. Now she is Founder, President and an Artist living with MS.

She offers commissions and enjoys creating someone else’s vision as much as her own. You can see one of her Murals at the Kingston Library, "Kingsley" Steer BBQ, a commission for the Village of Kingston, NS.
