This expressive arts mask-making workshop offers a supportive space to explore identity, resilience, and healing through creativity. No art experience required, just a willingness to show up as you are. The workshop runs for four weeks (one session per week).

-
Session 1: Plan your mask. Meet others in the program.
-
Session 2: Build your mask base with plaster.
-
Session 3: Sculpt your mask with clay.
-
Session 4: Paint and add mask details.

Each session is 2 hours. While you create your mask you will spend time with the same small group. There are opportunities to socialize, learn new skills, and express things you haven't been able to. Discussions that happen during the program are confidential.

At the end of the workshop you will have your own unique mask to take home.

We also host youth mask workshops for children ages 13-17. If you think your child would benefit from a chance to express themselves and meet youth from other military families going through similar things, register them for the program.
